DESCRIPTION:
Collectors are responsible for protecting and recovering Credit Union assets while providing service oriented financial counseling to members. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and a minimum of three years work experience in collections or lending.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and can be of a sensitive nature. Work may also involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts are important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) is necessary. Must be highly self-motivated and goal oriented.
